Miso Glazed Fish

  • 400 gm Fish fillets, cut in half (salmon, barramundi, snapper)
  • 2 tbsp Miso paste
  • 2 tbsp Liquid aminos
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp Ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp Ground allspice or nutmeg
  • Olive oil
  • Sesame oil
  • Tamari sauce
  • Greens for steaming


  • Preheat oven to 180⁰ C
  • In a small bowl whisk together the miso paste, liquid aminos, apple cider vinegar, ginger, allspice with 1 tablespoon of water.
  • Place fish fillets in a shallow baking pan rubbed lightly with Olive oil.
  • Spoon miso mixture evenly over fish portions.
  • Bake or grill fish portions for 8-10 minutes, basting an extra 2-3 times with the miso mixture until fish flakes with a fork, be mindful to not overcook.
  • Remove and place onto a serving plate.
  • Serve with steamed greens (beans, broccoli, snow peas, bok choy) drizzle with sesame oil and tamari.
