hCG Diet Phase 3 Foods – Shopping List
It can be unsettling making the transition from low calorie phase, to maintenance phase, increasing calories and re-introducing foods.
But it doesn’t need to be, here are some simple guidelines:
- Continue to record a food diary
- Avoid sugars and excessive GI starches or carbohydrates
- Increase protein and fat consumption (healthy fat please !)
Remember phase 3 of the hCG Diet is not a low fat phase, it’s a no sugar/ low starch/low carbs phase!

Even though these delicious fruits are on the Phase 3 Food List it is wise to moderate the amount of fruit you are adding to your diet.
Nuts and Seeds
Consume in moderate quantities (3 finger portions)
- Almonds
- Walnuts
- Macadamia nuts
- Pumpkin seeds
- Hazelnuts
- Brazil nuts
- Pecans
- Tahini
These are the only grains allowed
- Psyllium husks
- Coconut flour
- Almond meal
Alcohol
Be careful, it comes with inherent risks during maintenance, alcohol is high in sugar. The sugar content of alcohol has the capacity to undo everything you have managed to achieve!
